800 firm owners, and only one coach

How a coach for accounting firm owners built an AI version of his advice, with a rule against making things up

When people trust your advice, they want more of it than you have hours. Ryan Lazanis, who started Future Firm, coaches a community of more than 800 accounting firm owners.

He is often asked for advice, so he looked for a way to be available without being online.

What Future Firm did

Lazanis trained an AI coaching clone, RyanBot, to emulate his coaching style. He set one firm rule: "Unlike many AI clones that generate nonsense, I ensured it only responds based on its training." The bot points to its training material when it answers.

He reports that since launching RyanBot to his Future Firm Accelerate community, it has exchanged over 1,000 messages with overwhelmingly positive feedback. He later made it public. These are his own figures from February 2025.

What it already gives the business

Members can get the coach's approach at any hour, and the answers stay within what he actually teaches.

Lazanis sees it as a beginning: "Digital clones are still in their early days, but they're undoubtedly the future."

The ExValu perspective, a hypothesis

Where a Company Brain could take it next

A coach's best advice often comes from patterns across many firms: which pricing change worked, which hire came too early.

A Company Brain could connect members' anonymized questions with his answers and their outcomes, so the advice improves as the community grows. For an operating business, the same idea applies to its own experts. That is our hypothesis.

What an owner and a buyer would look for

Track how many questions the expert still answers personally and how often the documented answers need correcting.

A buyer of an expert-led business wants to know whether the method works without the person. An approved, sourced base of the expert's answers is evidence that it can.
