You have built a business worth protecting, and you are looking at ExValu because you want a clear-eyed view of what it is worth and what stands between here and a strong exit. Part of giving you that clear-eyed view means being clear about how we use artificial intelligence ourselves, on this site and in how we work with you.
This page explains where AI shows up when you interact with ExValu, what stays human, and how to reach a person directly if you would rather skip the AI altogether.
The chat assistant. The chat widget on this site (the icon in the corner of your screen, offering options like live chat, SMS, email, voice, or social messaging) may connect you with an AI assistant rather than a person, depending on the channel and time of day. When you are speaking with our AI assistant, it will identify itself as AI at the start of the conversation.
Reaching a person. In chat, SMS, email, or social messaging, ask for a person at any point and you will be handed to a member of our team. The same happens automatically if the assistant cannot find an answer or cannot resolve your question after a couple of tries. By phone, our voice assistant is set up to connect you directly to a team member on request.
The valuation calculator. The interactive tool on this site that estimates your valuation gap uses a fixed formula based on typical EBITDA multiples for SME transactions, not a generative AI model. It produces an estimate for orientation purposes only, not a valuation opinion.
Written content. Blog posts, guides, and site copy on exvalu.com are drafted with the assistance of AI tools and then reviewed and edited by our team before publication. A named team member holds editorial responsibility for every published piece. Content is not published as AI output without human review.
Images. Where illustrations or graphics on this site are AI-generated rather than licensed photography, we note this in the image caption.
As of August 2, 2026, the EU AI Act requires businesses that deploy AI systems to be transparent about it in specific situations, including AI chat and voice systems, and AI-generated content on matters of public interest. This notice, along with the disclosures built into our tools directly, is how ExValu meets that requirement. We treat this the same way we advise our clients to treat it: as a matter of buyer-ready operational discipline, not a compliance checkbox to bury in fine print.
Every engagement that matters, program calls, diagnostic reviews, exit strategy decisions, and anything involving your financial or ownership data, is handled by a person on our team. AI tools support research, drafting, and first-response chat. They do not make decisions about your business, your data, or your program outcomes.
Any AI tools used on this site or in delivering your program are covered by our Privacy Policy, GDPR page, and Data Processing Agreement. If an AI vendor processes your personal data on our behalf, that vendor is listed as a subprocessor under our Data Processing Agreement, consistent with Article 28 GDPR.
Contact us and ask for a team member, or use the chat or voice assistant on this site and ask for a person. Either way, you will be routed to a member of our team.
